Our Mission Is …
Learning Environment
To provide access to a safe and caring learning environment that celebrates and develops the uniqueness of each child. Before and after school activities are designed to develop children’s life skills and to enhance their success at school in academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and recreational areas.
Goals for Students
To assure each child feels cared for and safe in a secure learning environment that recognizes their uniqueness and promotes attainment of academic and life skills that will help them to become successful students and productive citizens.
Goals for Staff
Through mutual respect and understanding, staff in the Extended Day program have the means of maintaining our common purpose…..to keep children safe when they are not in school and to provide an engaging environment that inspires them to become creative thinkers, decision makers, innovators, successful students and productive citizens. To meet this goal and to promote “Pride of Ownership”, staff in the Extended Day program continuously develop and improve their creativity and knowledge through training and educational resources.
Goals for Parents/Community
To be the Extended Day “program of choice” for parents who are secure in the knowledge that children are in a safe environment that is based on respect for the uniqueness of each child, and supports academic success and life skills by engaging them in enriching before and after school activities.
