In accordance with Rule 30.200.8 of the Personnel Commission Rules and Regulations, the Personnel Commission is responsible for the review and the classification of positions. A classification and compensation study, over a five-year review cycle, will be conducted beginning during the 2008-2009 school year. Ewing Consulting Services has been hired to conduct the study.

2010/2011 STUDY UPDATE
- This year's study is in process. The consultant is currently reviewing the Position Information Questionnaires that were submitted by participating employees and will be conducting employee interviews in February 2011.
2009/2010 STUDY UPDATE
- The consultant presented their recommendations to the Governing Board and the Personnel Commission in April 2010. Implementation of the study is to be determined. Information will be shared with participants as it becomes available.

The information provided in the questionnaire will be the primary tool for assuring that the position is properly classified. We recognize that the form asks for a great deal of information. However, it is vitally important that we receive accurate information from employees about the content of their positions.
