| The maximum vacation hours your are permitted to carry over into the new fiscal year equals the amount of vacation time you earned this year (earned only, does not include accrued). Example: If I earned 112 vacation hours this year, and currently have 130 hours remaining, I would need to use 18 hours by the end of the school year, or lose the portion I did not use. 130 hrs remaining - 112 hrs earned = 18 hrs Note: If an employee is retiring or quitting their job by June 30, any remaining vacation hours will be paid off, and the hours will not be lost. |
