On November 7, 2000, voters approved Proposition X which allowed the Cajon
Valley Union School District to issue $75 million General Obligation Bonds (GOB) for
the purposes listed below:
 | Repair and upgrade classroom facilities. |
| Expand and improve libraries. |
| Make health and safety improvements. |
| Repair classroom smoke alarm systems. |
| Give students access to classroom computer technology. |
| Build and acquire new schools. |

District Building Fund
Proceeds from the sale of Bonds will be deposited into a Designated District
Building Fund and shall be expended by the District solely for the acquisition
or improvement of real property pursuant to the Bond Proposition and for the
cost of the issuance of the Bonds.
Citizen's Oversight Committee
Role of the Committee
| Review proposed projects to verify they are authorized in accordance with
the GOB fund uses outlined in the ballot proposition. |
| Review project planning and construction schedules. |
| Report periodically to the Superintendent, Governing Board, and community. |
